2008 Bellevue Women’s Nine-Hole Golf Club
Welcome new and returning members to the Bellevue Women’s Nine Hole Golf Club. We’re anticipating a fabulous and enjoyable Season. To help ensure all participants understand information about our club, requirements for joining, and general expectations of our members, we include that data herewith.
Our club is a volunteer run, handicap league. Membership is open to all women who are available to play competitive golf on Thursday mornings from April through October at Bellevue Municipal Golf Course. We expect and encourage all members, new and returning, to participate in volunteering in some way to help make our league a success.
As a member, you must either have a GHIN number and handicap on record or have scorecards from at least five 18-hole rounds (or ten 9-hole rounds) from any 18-hole golf course, before you participate in weekly competitions or tournaments. If you do not have a GHIN number and handicap, you may enter the league, however, you MUST be able to play 9-holes under 75 strokes, consistently. All players must understand the basic rules of golf by the start of league play. Each new member will be given a rules book and will have a “Big Sister” assigned to them to address questions. All members are expected to play “Ready Golf” to keep the pace of play moving.
Our club has a large membership. In order to communicate club business and it is imperative that all members attend both General Membership Meetings on March 27 and July 31. If you have schedule conflicts, please contact us.

Tee times are from 7:15 – 10:00 AM. You may sign up for a tee time for yourself and one other league member for the following week, one week in advance on league day OR at bellevuemgc.com. Tee time sign-up sheets will be available at the March 27th General Membership meeting, so bring your calendar. Should you need to cancel your tee time, you must cancel no later that the Monday evening before your play on Thursday to avoid a penalty.
Membership dues are $75, which includes your GHIN fee. Early sign-up is appreciated and you must pay no later that March 27th. This year we will have Guest Day on May 15th to allow friends to join in the fun.
The Captain and/or Rules Committee will determine and post each year’s Club Rules prior to the start of the season. Changes to Club Rules must be approved by 2/3 of the Board. If in doubt about a situation or rule while playing, note your question and consult USGA Rules of Golf or one of the Bellevue golf pros. We will post all current club information on our bulletin board in the clubhouse. Please review the bulletin board throughout the Season for information about your league.
