The 2012 Bellevue Classic was a tremendous success. We had 122 players competing for $6000 in prize money (awarded as script to be used at the BGC Pro Shop).
For the second year in a row, The Classic was won by a high school student. Brian Mogg won with a score of even par 142. First round leader Sean Packer finished second with a score of 145.
Tim Okamura won the 2nd flight and Rod Russell won the 3rd flight with Net scores of 135 and 137 respectively.
2012 was the first year that a women's flight was added with Nancy Daly and Susie Berg tying for first place each shooting a net 148.
In spite of record amounts of rain the week before the tournament, the course was a bit soggy, but in fantastic condition and the weather cooperated on Sunday as the sun finally came out and brought much appreciated warmer conditions.
With 12 closest to the pin prizes and 4 flights each paying gross and net, 62 players received a payout.
